Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”, and the End User License Agreement for the App) form an agreement between you and KRONIK APP (“KRONIK APP”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of the mobile application Deep Search Assistant (the “App”). By downloading, installing or using the App you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.

1. What the App is — and what it is not

Deep Search Assistant searches publicly available sources on the web and uses an AI model to summarize what those sources say about a person, along with links back to them. It is a search and summarization tool over public information.

Deep Search Assistant is not a background-check service, and KRONIK APP is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the U.S. Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) or any equivalent law. The information in the App is not a consumer report and must never be used as one.

2. Permitted use, and what is strictly forbidden

You may use the App for lawful, personal, informational purposes — for example, learning about a public figure, checking who you are about to meet or do business with, or seeing what the open web says about you.

You may not use the App, or any information obtained through it, for any of the following:

• Any FCRA-regulated decision — eligibility for employment, hiring, promotion, retention, credit, loans, insurance, housing, tenancy, or educational admission.
• Stalking, surveillance, harassment, intimidation, doxxing, or any attempt to locate or contact a person who does not want to be located or contacted.
• Threatening, defaming, blackmailing or endangering any person, or causing them distress.
• Discriminating against any person on the basis of a protected characteristic.
• Identity theft, impersonation, fraud, or any other unlawful purpose.
• Scraping, bulk-extracting, reselling, redistributing or building a database out of results from the App; automating access to the App or its underlying service; or attempting to circumvent rate limits, security controls or subscription checks.
• Any use that violates applicable law, including data-protection and anti-stalking law in your jurisdiction.

You are solely responsible for how you use what you find. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without refund, if we reasonably believe you have breached this section.

3. Age

You must be at least 18 years old, and legally able to enter into a binding contract, to use the App.

4. Accuracy — read this before relying on anything

Results are produced by an AI model reading third-party websites. They can be incomplete, out of date, or simply wrong, and they can be about a different person who shares the same name. AI models can also misread a source or state something with more confidence than the source supports.

Every result links to the sources it came from precisely so that you can check them. Do not treat a result as verified fact, and do not make any decision about a person on the strength of it alone. KRONIK APP does not endorse, verify or vouch for third-party content, and is not responsible for it.

5. Subscriptions, free trials and billing

Some features of the App require a paid subscription. Plans, prices, durations and any free-trial length are shown in the App before you confirm a purchase, in your local currency.

• Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Free trial. If a free trial is offered, it converts into a paid subscription automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
  iOS: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Deep Search Assistant → Cancel Subscription.
  Android:Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Deep Search Assistant → Cancel subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies. We cannot issue refunds for purchases made through the stores; contact Apple Support or Google Play Support.
• Price changes will be notified in advance and, where the stores require it, will take effect only after you consent.

6. Fair use of the search service

Each search costs us money to run. Even on a paid plan, use of the search service is subject to reasonable rate limits and fair-use protections against automated or abusive traffic. “Unlimited” means unlimited ordinary personal use, not bulk or programmatic access.

7. License

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and the rules of the store you obtained it from. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, rent, lease, sublicense or redistribute the App or any part of it, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

The App, its design, its content and all intellectual property in it remain ours (or our licensors’). Names, marks and images of third parties appearing in results belong to their respective owners.

8. Your content and searches

You are responsible for the search terms you enter and for having a lawful basis to look up the people you look up. How we handle your searches is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Availability

We work to keep the App available and correct, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change, and third-party sources and providers may change or become unavailable. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the App at any time.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App and all results are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or the accuracy, completeness or currency of any information shown.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KRONIK APP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill or reputation, arising out of or in connection with your use of — or inability to use — the App, or your reliance on any information obtained through it. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KRONIK APP from any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App in breach of these Terms — in particular, from any use prohibited by section 2.

13. Termination

These Terms apply for as long as you use the App. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach them. You may end them at any time by deleting the App — remembering to cancel any subscription separately (section 5).

14. Apple and Google

These Terms are between you and KRONIK APP only, not with Apple or Google. The store operator is not responsible for the App or its content, and has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul (Çağlayan) shall have jurisdiction — without depriving you of any mandatory protection available to you as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms. The current version is always posted here with a revised “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept it.
