Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and KRONIK APP (“KRONIK APP”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of the mobile application Mapsy (the “App”). By downloading, installing or using the App you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.

1. What the App is — and what it is not

Mapsy lets you look at the world: satellite imagery, Street View panoramas, publicly broadcast live cameras, and driving routes between two points. The imagery and map data are supplied by third parties (OpenStreetMap, Esri, Google, YouTube broadcasters and others); we present them, we do not produce them.

Mapsy is not a turn-by-turn navigation system and must not be relied on for real-time driving, aviation, maritime, emergency or any other safety-critical purpose. Do not operate a vehicle while interacting with the App.

2. Permitted use

You may use the App for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Scrape, bulk-download, resell, redistribute or build a competing map, imagery or routing product out of the data the App displays.
• Use the App to stalk, harass, surveil or locate a person, or to monitor a private residence.
• Circumvent, disable or interfere with any security, rate-limiting or paid-feature mechanism, or reverse-engineer the App except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded.
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable law, or the terms of the underlying providers (including the Google Maps Platform Terms, the OpenStreetMap licence, and the YouTube Terms of Service).

3. Age

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the App. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

4. Accuracy — read this before relying on anything

• Imagery may be old. Satellite images and Street View panoramas are captured at a point in time and can be months or years out of date. What is on the ground now may differ.
• Routes are estimates. Distances and travel times are computed from third-party road data and do not account for live traffic, closures, tolls, restrictions or the vehicle you drive.
• Live cameras belong to other people. They are public streams published by third parties on YouTube. They can go offline, change, or be removed at any moment, and we do not control their content or availability.
• Place information may be wrong. Names, coordinates and photographs come from public sources and may contain errors.

5. Subscriptions, free trials and billing

Some features of the App — such as the live cameras and Street View — require a paid subscription (“Mapsy PRO”). Plans, prices, durations and any free-trial length are shown in the App before you confirm a purchase, in your local currency.

• Payment is charged to your Google Play or Apple App Store account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Free trial. If a free trial is offered, it converts into a paid subscription automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
  Android:Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Mapsy → Cancel subscription.
  iOS: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Mapsy → Cancel Subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Google and Apple under their own policies. We cannot issue refunds for purchases made through the stores; contact Google Play Support or Apple Support.
• Price changes will be notified in advance and, where the stores require it, will take effect only after you consent.

6. License

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own use, subject to these Terms and the rules of the store you installed it from. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.

7. Third-party data and attribution

The App displays data from providers who retain their own rights in it, including © OpenStreetMap contributors (map and routing data, licensed under the Open Database Licence), Esri and its imagery partners (satellite imagery), Google (Street View, photorealistic 3D and YouTube live streams) and Wikipedia/Wikimedia contributors (place photographs). Your use of that data is also subject to those providers’ terms.

8. Availability

We do our best to keep the App working, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption or error. Features that depend on third-party services can break or disappear when those services change, and we may add, change or remove features at any time.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App and everything it displays are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, currency, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KRONIK APP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or damage to property or persons, arising out of or in connection with your use of — or reliance on — the App, its imagery, its routes or its live cameras. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD 50.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold KRONIK APP harmless from any claim, liability, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the App in breach of these Terms or of applicable law.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach these Terms or use the App unlawfully. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it — remembering to cancel any subscription separately (section 5).

13. Apple and Google

These Terms are between you and KRONIK APP, not with Apple or Google. The store from which you obtained the App is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which may refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul (Çağlayan) shall have jurisdiction — without depriving you of any mandatory consumer protection you are entitled to under the law of your country of residence.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms. The current version is always posted here with a revised “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept it.
