Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how KRONIK APP (“KRONIK APP”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares information when you use the mobile application Heycar: Car Widgets & Dashboard (the “App”), which lets you personalize your Home Screen widgets and your car’s CarPlay / Android Auto dashboard with photos, styles, brand themes and connection sounds. By downloading or using the App you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

The App does not require you to create an account or give your name or email to use it. We collect the following categories of data:

• Content you add. Photos and images you pick, plus names, dates, text, colors, car brand/model selections and sounds you choose for your widgets and dashboard. This content is processed and stored on your device to render your widgets — we do not upload it to our servers.
• Device & diagnostic identifiers. Device model, app-instance identifiers, IP address and similar technical data used to run analytics and keep the App stable. We do not use advertising identifiers (such as Apple’s IDFA) and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
• Usage & diagnostics data. How you interact with the App (features used, sessions, taps), device model, OS and app version, language, general region, and crash / performance logs.
• Subscription data. Your subscription status (e.g. active plan, renewal state). Payments are handled by Apple or Google — we never receive your card number.

2. How we use information

• To provide and render your widgets, dashboards and connection sounds.
• To manage your subscription and unlock premium features.
• To analyze and improve the App, fix crashes and prevent abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. On-device content

Widget photos, text and custom sounds you create are kept in the App’s storage on your device (and, if you enable it, in your own iCloud / Google backup). Deleting the App removes this content from the device.

4. Third-party services

We use a small number of trusted providers that process data under their own privacy policies, only as needed to run the service:

• Apple App Store / Google Play — distribution, payments and subscriptions.
• Analytics — Google Analytics for Firebase — to understand how the App is used and to keep it stable.
• Subscription management — Adapty — to validate purchase receipts and manage your subscription state across your devices.

5. Sharing your information

We share data with the service providers described above, when required by law or a valid legal request, and as part of a business transfer (e.g. merger or acquisition). We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party or cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Data retention

On-device content stays until you delete it or remove the App. Diagnostic and purchase-related data is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law, then deleted or anonymized.

7. Your rights & choices

• Permissions: manage photo library and notification access in your device settings.
• Subscriptions: manage or cancel any time in your device’s account settings (App Store or Google Play) — see our Terms of Use for step-by-step instructions.
• EU/EEA & UK (GDPR): you may access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing and request portability.
• California (CCPA/CPRA): you may request access or deletion. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• Türkiye (KVKK): you have the rights set out in Law No. 6698.

8. Children’s privacy

The App is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we continuously review our safeguards.

10. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

11. Trademarks

Vehicle brand names, logos and imagery shown in the App are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and personalization only. HeyCar and KRONIK APP are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any vehicle manufacturer.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always posted here with a revised “Last updated” date.
