Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”, and the End User License Agreement for the App) form an agreement between you and KRONIK APP (“KRONIK APP”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of the mobile application GlucoAI (the “App”). By downloading, installing or using the App you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.

1. Medical disclaimer — read this first

GlucoAI is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition, and nothing in the App is medical advice. It is a personal logging tool that helps you record glucose readings and meals and ask questions about what you have logged.

• The App’s AI assistant will not tell you whether you have a medical condition, and it will not tell you what dose of medication or insulin to take, start, stop or change. Only your doctor can make that call.
• If you experience a dangerously high or low reading, or symptoms like confusion, fainting, vomiting or trouble breathing, the App will tell you plainly that this needs urgent medical attention — and so do we: call emergency services or your doctor, do not wait for or rely on anything the App says.
• Always talk to a qualified healthcare provider about your glucose levels, symptoms, and any change to your treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in the App.

2. Permitted use

You may use the App to log your own glucose readings and meals, and to ask its AI assistant questions about your own logged data, for personal, non-commercial use. You may not use the App to log or ask about another person’s health information without their consent, use it as a substitute for professional medical advice, monitoring or care, or attempt to automate, scrape or bulk-extract data from the App or its backend, or circumvent rate limits, security controls or subscription checks.

3. Age

You must be at least 18 years old, and legally able to enter into a binding contract, to use the App. If you are logging readings for a minor in your care, you are the one agreeing to these Terms and are responsible for that use.

4. Accuracy of AI Chat

AI Chat answers are generated by an AI model reading a summary of the data you logged. Like any AI system, it can be wrong, incomplete, or phrase something in a way that is easy to misunderstand. Do not treat an AI Chat answer as a diagnosis, a guarantee, or a substitute for a clinician reading your actual chart. The accuracy of any answer also depends on the accuracy of what you logged.

5. Subscriptions, free trials and billing

Some features of the App (see the paywall for the current list) require a paid subscription. Plans, prices, durations and any free-trial length are shown in the App before you confirm a purchase, in your local currency.

• Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Free trial. If a free trial is offered, it converts into a paid subscription automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
  iOS: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → GlucoAI → Cancel Subscription.
  Android:Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → GlucoAI → Cancel subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies. We cannot issue refunds for purchases made through the stores; contact Apple Support or Google Play Support.
• Price changes will be notified in advance and, where the stores require it, will take effect only after you consent.

6. Fair use of AI Chat

Each AI Chat question costs us money to answer. The free plan includes a limited number of questions per day; a paid plan removes that daily cap but remains subject to reasonable rate limits and fair-use protection against automated or abusive traffic. “Unlimited” means unlimited ordinary personal use, not bulk or programmatic access.

7. License

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and the rules of the store you obtained it from. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, rent, lease, sublicense or redistribute the App or any part of it, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

The App, its design, its content and all intellectual property in it remain ours (or our licensors’).

8. Your data

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you log. How the App handles it is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Availability

We work to keep the App available and correct, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, including AI Chat, which depends on third-party AI providers. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the App at any time.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App and all AI Chat answers are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or the accuracy, completeness or currency of any information shown — including for medical or health-related purposes.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KRONIK APP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, reputation or health outcome, arising out of or in connection with your use of — or inability to use — the App, or your reliance on any information obtained through it, including AI Chat. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing in these Terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence where such a limitation is not permitted by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KRONIK APP from any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App in breach of these Terms.

13. Termination

These Terms apply for as long as you use the App. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach them. You may end them at any time by deleting the App — remembering to cancel any subscription separately (section 5).

14. Apple and Google

These Terms are between you and KRONIK APP only, not with Apple or Google. The store operator is not responsible for the App or its content, and has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul (Çağlayan) shall have jurisdiction — without depriving you of any mandatory protection available to you as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms. The current version is always posted here with a revised “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept it.
